84年のセントルイス産、ご当地物ならではのマイナーレーベル”Royal”からの１枚で、オススメは、A1″That’s The Way”。

今時のビートと比べても遜色ないファットなキックにキレの良いハイハット、爽やかなギターも気持ちイイ、ブギートラックにパワフルなヴォーカルがのる１曲です。是非大音量で体感して下さい。

８０年代、ブギーなゴスペルはまだまだ良いのがありますね〜

さらに、こいつには、”Eddie Kendricks”の”Goin’ Up In Smoke”のカヴァーを収録。
